The Historical Society of Bloomfield, New Jersey
is a group of dedicated volunteers who promote interest in the rich history of Bloomfield and seek to preserve the remnants of that history. They sponsor, staff and maintain the Historical Museum with it's displays and showcases. Your webmaster spent a very pleasant afternoon there recently and highly recommends a visit to this small gem of a museum.

The Museum is located at 90 Broad Street, in the Children's Wing of the Bloomfield Public Library. 
Currently, the Museum is open on Wednesdays from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from September thru May, 
is also open 10AM to 12:30PM on Saturday mornings. Also open by appointment.
